Patara Elephant Farm – Rescuing, recovering and reintroducing elephants
Patara is an elephant conservation facility centred around rescue, recovery, reproduction and reintroduction, while also raising awareness about the plight of elephants in Thailand. Patara Elephant Farm offers half-day and full-day programs for visitors to learn more about the animals under their care and support their work.
Why are donations needed now?
Taking care of 77 elephants requires a lot of money for food and to support the 100+ staff who look after them. Patara Elephant Farm usually sustains its operations through income from visitors. The current crisis has left them struggling to survive as there are no more tourists. Their elephants and mahouts urgently need your help.
