Sanon – Training disadvantaged youths in kitchen and hospitality skills

Donate now

Sanon is a not-for-profit vocational training restaurant operated by the Myanmar Youth Development Institute (MYDI). Sanon trains disadvantaged Myanmar youths in kitchen and hospitality skills so they can have a better future. They train up to 30 students at a time, assist them to gain employment, and continuously monitor trainees for a further two years to ensure a sustainable impact.

Why are donations needed now?

100% of revenue from the restaurant goes back to covering training and operating costs. Sanon does not receive external funding from NGOs or government sources, making them particularly vulnerable in the current crisis. They need your donations more than ever as tourists stay away.
