Hotels Joining Hands - Feeding those that have lost their jobs in tourism
In Siem Reap where locals rely entirely on tourism, the impact of the pandemic has been brutal and devastating; unemployment is rising to unseen levels and hundreds of businesses have been closed since April. That is the reason why three hotels Mulberry Boutique Hotel, Jaya House Riverpark and Treeline Urban Resort started Hotels Joining Hands.
Why are donations needed now?
The three hotels are donating on average 400 hot and nutritious meals every day to communities in need. Since April, 47,500 meals have been donated, as well as tons of rice and dry supplies. As funds start to dry up, they need your support to keep feeding those most affected.
